August 2002-May 2003 worked as a Peer Mediator at Easton Middle School and the Easton Community Center in Easton, MD. August 2004-May 2006 I tutored students after school at Colonel Richardson Middle in Federalsburg, MD and Federalsburg Elementary. I want to be a tutor because I feel that many students face a challenging social and home life and need a place where they can learn in a judgment and distraction free environment, and have fun along the way! I also lived in Ecuador for 6 months and helped renovate a homeless boys shelter. Whether it's helping one child or many it makes a difference.
