Completed a two year (4 semester) program of Humanities. (Humanities includes, history, art, philosophy, religion, English, and literature). I have worked with kids in classrooms to assist them with school work as well as helping friends to also understand materials better. I want to be a tutor because I like to help students who may be struggling in a subject or two because I have been in that position and would have appreciated having someone that I could go to about my problems. It is also a chance to bond and learn what may work for the student and help to encourage him or her into a more positive way of thinking and see if I can't help him or her to do better in the future. One would be amazed what a little encouragement and help can do to get students to progress and succeed in the future. :) I have worked with youth for several years now, assisting as a leader in my church youth group, being involved in classrooms and so forth.
