My SAT scores were an 1800, scoring in the 98th percentile on the English section. My only previous tutoring has been for my younger brother and sister, but I have been helping them with their homework their whole lives. I am very patient and know how to work well with other students. Since I learn by understanding all of the steps and then understanding the big picture, my explanations will ensure not only learning, but a total commitment to memory as well. I am currently taking an education course which will put me in an actual classroom from time to time. By this time next year, I'll be student teaching most of my school day. Tutoring would be good experience for me before fulfilling my goal of becoming a real high school teacher. It also helps that a lot of the courses your child may need help with are still fresh in my mind.
