Education

Junior Journalism Major and Music Minor at Salisbury University

Experience

I have had ample experience in both mentoring and tutoring students. I have learned many techniques and tricks to helping your child learn tough subjects, including History and English. I am currently a Journalism major, which means I have taken many editing and english courses. I have also taken college level algebra, and received an A in the class. In high school, I was enrolled in both ACT and SAT peer mentoring and tutoring seminars, and scored very well on both tests (SAT 1950, ACT 23). I also took an extensive amount of AP classes, including Lit, Comp, human Geography, AP Theory, and AP Biology. I have a 3.75 GPA and have made the Dean's List each semester at my University.

Hobbies

I am definitely a people person. Since starting work at age 14, I have always done well in group and problem solving settings. I have a wide range of pop culture, and use that as a tool to connect and interest your child in the subjects he or she needs assistance in. I love all of the arts, and am highly involved in many music programs at my college, including university chorale. I am also a huge hockey fan, love to cook and enjoy reading and history.
