Hello! I have had the privilege to work in many schools throughout Salisbury MD including Parkside High School, Pinehurst Elementary and I am currently a student mentor in a ESL classroom at James E Bennet High School. I have had a lot of access and training in the field of ESL. I have taken a variety of classes to improve my abilities with English acquisition such as Language and Culture, ESL Methods, Bilingualism, Reading/Writing ESL skills, Linguistics and seven different Spanish courses. I would love to get more involved with tutoring for many reasons although the most important reason is to effectively help students who need a little extra help to ensure their success. As a language learner myself, I understand the hardships and obstacles that one might face while acquiring a second language. I look forward to working with a variety of students who need extra help with their English skills and hopefully get to learn more about my students language and culture as well!
